Pingali Venkayya
Pingali Venkayya ( born August 2, 1876 in Bhatlapenumarru at Masulipatnam, Andhra Pradesh, † July 4, 1963 ) the Indian National Flag has designed.
After high school in Masulipatnam, he went to Colombo to complete training for his Senior Cambridge. Back in India, he worked as a railroad conductor and a government employee at Bellary. He later moved to Lahore where he studied at the Anglo - Vedic college Urdu and Japanese.
From 1906 to 1911 Pingali was primarily concerned with comparing different crop varieties, and published a study on the type of cotton Cambodia Cotton. He became famous as Patti Venkayya ( cotton Venkayya ).
Later he returned to Masulipatnam and devoted himself 1916-1921 studying various flags and eventually developed the current Indian tricolor.
