Piscataqua River

The Piscataqua River is a 19 km-long estuary in the northeastern United States.

Made it is the confluence of the Cocheco River and Salmon Falls River east of Dover. In the first third it runs in a southerly direction and then turns to the southeast. The mouth in the Atlantic Ocean, east of Portsmouth. On the entire length of the Piscataqua River forms the border between Maine and New Hampshire. To the south of the Piscataqua River is connected to the Great Bay, into which several rivers flow: Lamprey River, Bellamy River and Squamscott River.
