The Pisidian language is named after the Anatolian landscape Pisidia, which lay north of Pamphylia inland. From her grave, only 21 short inscriptions are obtained ( in the headwaters of the river Eurymedon ) were found east of the Eğirdir Lake in the village Sofular and essentially consist of names in Greek characters.
Probably belonged Pisidisch to the Anatolian languages , a subgroup of the Indo-European languages .
