The Atlantic Pistachio ( Pistacia atlantica ) is a flowering plant in the family Anacardiaceae ( Anacardiaceae ).

Features

The Atlantic Pistachio is a deciduous, 4-7 (rarely to 20) meters tall shrub or tree. The leaves are five-to eleven - trifoliate, the leaflets are ovate -oblong and have no patch tip. The spindle is narrow winged. The stem is hairy.

The flowering period extends from March to April.

Occurrence

The Atlantic Pistachio comes in North Africa, the eastern Mediterranean and the Canary Islands on dry slopes.
