Pitchshifter

Pitch Shifter is an English band from Nottingham. Founded in 1989 under the name of pitch shifter, it consisted of the members of Johnny A. Carter (Lead Guitar / Programming), Mark Clayden (bass / vocals), Stuart Toolin (rhythm guitar) and Jon S. Clayden ( background vocals ).

Pioneering they were mainly used for the connection of guitar driven electronic music, in particular of metal and punk on the one hand and drum and bass on the other side. Furthermore, pitch shifter known for their socially conscious lyrics, and for their remixes.
