The Pitelis Lake ( Latvian Peiteļa ezers or Pītelis; Russian Питель Pitel ) is a lake in Eastern Europe, which in Latvia and Russia ( Pskov oblast ) situated.

By the lake flows the Rūbeža, a tributary of the Zilupe. The state border and thus the EU's eastern border runs approximately in the middle of the lake. The area is marsh -like.
