Pitolisant ( Tiprolisant, BF 2649 ) is a clinical- trial drug from the group of H3 antihistamines. Pitolisant was developed by the French pharmaceutical company Bioprojet. For a possible application for the treatment of excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS ) associated with narcolepsy Pitolisant the status of an orphan medicinal product has been granted.
