Piton de la Petite Rivière Noire

The Piton de la Petite Rivière Noire is the highest mountain on the island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean. In the Black River district located it rises to a height of 828 m above sea level and forms a part of the Black River mountain range.
In addition, there are two other main mountain ranges in Mauritius: Moka - Port Louis and Grand Port - Savanne. The Moka -Port Louis mountain range includes the mountains Pieter Both (820m ) and Le Pouce ( 811 m), which form the second and third highest point on Mauritius. Both are known as the Piton de la Petite Rivière Noire in the southwest.
