Location

Pitsburg located in the western part of the State of Ohio, 170 Km north of Cincinnati and 250 miles west of Columbus, Ohio's capital. The nearest major town is Dayton, about 35 kilometers southeast of Pitsburg.

Pitsburg is located in the north of Monroe townships. This is located in the extreme southeast of the county. The administrative seat of the county is Greenville. About the Ohio State Route 49, which passes by Pitsburg, you can reach the county seat directly after around 16 kilometers to the northwest.

By Pitsburg led in the second half of the 19th century, the Indiana, Bloomington and Western Railway, which was later incorporated into the Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago and St. Louis Railway.
