Piz Corvatsch

The Corvatsch ( 3'451 m above sea level. M. ) or Piz Corvatsch is about 5-10 km south of St. Moritz in the Upper Engadine. He is the highest mountain of the second largest ski area in the Upper Engadine, the combination Corvatsch / Furtschellas.
Two aerial tramway sections lead up to an altitude of about 3303 m, the highest point of the area. The Corvatsch is part of the Bernina group with Piz Bernina ( 4049 m). It is covered by a glacier.
Ski resort
The Corvatsch - Furtschellas is located on a north slope and is snow- sure. It makes up a large part of the 350 km of slopes and great ski resort has three ski lifts, three chair - lifts and eleven. The valley is a Silvaplana Sils Maria and the district of Surlej. As summer ski area since 1993, there is the Corwatschgebiet not already. Furtschellas is due to the low height for the question.
