The Piz Mez (Romansh in the idiom Surmiran for center top ) is a mountain south of the ski resort of Savognin in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland with a height of 2'718, 1 m. Thanks to the proximity to the ski area and thanks to the long and wide north slope with regular inclination he is a popular ski mountain. He is often mistakenly referred to as Murter. Murter (Romansh in the idiom Surmiran for alpine meadow, from Latin mortarium ( mortar ) ), however, the ridge which separates the Val Curtegns of the Val Schmorras, and whose northern corner of the Piz Mez.
Location
The Piz Mez belongs to the Piz Grisch group, a subgroup of the above Kamnik Alps. It lies entirely on the municipality of Riom- Parsonz.
Among the neighboring peaks include the Piz Arlo, the Piz Arblatsch, the Piz Forbesch, the Piz Cagniel, Piz Alv, the Piz Settember, the Sur Carungas, the Piz Cartas and the Piz Martegnas.
North of the Piz Mez is the ski resort of Savognin.
Valley is a Riom Parsonz and Savognin. Frequent starting point is radon.
