The Pizzo Ruscada is the second highest mountain in the north of the Cento Valli in the Ticino Alps. With a height of 2,004 meters, it is located in the Swiss canton of Ticino. The Italian border is the west about two miles away.
On a saddle in about 1,674 meters above sea level, lie the ruins of the Alpe di Ruscada, which was previously managed from Italy.
Rise
The rise is among other things about the East Ridge from Monti di Comino possible, and is classified on the SAC - hiking scale as T3 ( challenging hiking ). The mountain is also accessible via the south ridge ago, starting point is Costa.
