The Timor- Gerygone ( Gerygone inornata ) is a Southeast Asian songbird of the genus Gerygone within the family of South Pacific warblers.
Features
Head and back of the small bird is gray, beak and tips of the primaries black, abdomen and chest are white.
Occurrence
The Timor- Gerygone occurs on the islands of Timor, Wetar, Atauro, Sawu, Roti and Semau. Thus, it is missing in the Timor and Wetar Endemic Bird Area only on smaller islands such as Liran and Jaco. Despite their limited DISSEMINATION the Timor- Gerygone not considered endangered. The size of the total stock is not known, but is probably back due to the shrinking habitat.
On Atauro it comes in all habitats on the island before, both in the mountain forests that go there until about 1000 m, as well as in grasslands, while they are found on Timor in lowland, tropical dry forests and scrubland.
