Plavka
Plavka ( born March 25, 1968 civil Plavka Lónich ) is a native of Los Angeles singer from the area pop / dance, who now lives in London and occurs there in jazz clubs. She is best known as a singer with The Shamen and Jam & Spoon.
Career
Her first major success was the 1993 single released Right in the Night. It was her first collaboration with the trance DJ duo Jam & Spoon. The mixing of trance elements with acoustic guitar and her singing made the production successfully both in the charts and in the clubs. The included bonus track Follow Me has become a trance classic.
Published in 1993 by her and Jam & Spoon two albums. Qantas Fairytales 2001 and Qantas Fairytales 2002 2001 is characterized by Dance-/Trance-Elementen. 2002 Ambient influences. Both albums were well received by critics and audiences. Jam & Spoon concentrated in the following years, mainly due to the success of Right in the Night and succeeded several times a high chart position, in 1997, the album Kaleidoscope appeared.
In 2004, the album Qantas Fairytales was released 3003. Here, too, seemed Plavka with the duo Jam & Spoon.
After the death of Mark Spoon also Plavka and Jam El Mar separated and interrupted by her career as a trio. Then the singer was involved in several other songs as a singer. Among them were the singles Every Little Thing along with River Munzur and Surrender with J Nitti.
In April 2013 a remake of the successful EP Song Right appeared in the Night remixes of several European projects and Dance DJs contains. These include Groove Coverage, the Michael Mind Project, David May and Bodybangers.
