Plavnik
Plavnik is located, with a length of 6.3 km from northwest to southeast a Croatian island in the Kvarner bay of the Adriatic Sea, between the larger islands of Cres and Krk.
The island is 8.64 km ² in size, the circumference is 18.477 kilometers, the highest elevation of 194 m. She has a Mediterranean type sparse vegetation and is surrounded by several islets: Mali Plavnik and Kormati 1 and 2
It is uninhabited and has no suitable landing sites. Economically it is insignificant. At the westernmost point, Cape Veli pin, there is a lighthouse. The distance to Cres here is less than 1 km, the Krk 5 km.
