Pławęcino

Pławęcino ( German Plauen Thin) is a village in the urban and rural community Gościno ( United Jestin ) in the powiat Kołobrzeski ( Kolberg ) of the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship. The village is home to a Schulz Office to which the village Kamica ( Kämitz ) with 59 inhabitants ( 2010) belongs.

Geographical location

Pławęcino located in Pomerania, about 15 kilometers south of Kolobrzeg ( Kolberg) and 97 kilometers north-east of the regional capital Szczecin ( Szczecin).

History

The village (older spellings: Plauentin, Plauwentin, Plawentin ) was originally an allodial manor, which had successively been in the possession of various noble families. Before the end of the 18th century, this had been the family Blanckenburg, Krockow, Kameke, Crone Rock and Küsell. In 1804 the estate was bought along with the Good Neurese B of the Lieutenant Karl Eichmann, who paid a total of 22,000 dollars. In 1853 the estate was in the possession of the Manteuffel family.

To 1784 there were in the village next to the Vorwerk five farms and a total of 11 fireplaces (households). In addition to agriculture and forestry, which was the main source of income, was operated in two lakes and a creek to a lesser extent fishing. To 1867, lived in the village of 27 families and a total of 129 inhabitants.

Before 1945, Plauen Thin belonged to the district of Kolberg- Körlin in the administrative district of Pomerania Pomerania. Towards the end of the Second World War, the region was occupied in May 1945 by the Red Army and then put together with all Pomerania under Polish administration. Ever since the German - Polish Border Treaty it belonged to Poland. The German population was expelled in the aftermath. In the place now live about 160 inhabitants.

The Protestant parish of Plauen Thin was the parish to United Jestin in Kolberger Synod.
