Plekhanov Russian University of Economics

The Russian Plekhanov University of Economics (Russian Российский экономический университет имени Г. В. Плеханова ), formerly Plekhanov Academy of Economics, is a business school in Moscow, Russia.

History

Named after Georgi Plekhanov University is the largest economics university in Russia and the former Soviet Union. It was founded in 1907 by the merchant family Wischnjakow, a Familiendyanastie as the Abrikossows and Smirnov, and at the time was the only college that it allowed women to study.

University

At the Plekhanov University study approximately 13,000 students.
