The Ploggensee is an elongated lake immediately north of the local situation of Greve mills in the district of North West Mecklenburg.

The 15 -acre Ploggensee has maximum dimensions of 1100 meters in east-west direction and 160 meters in north-south direction. There are no significant inflows and outflows.
