Plonéis

Plonéis ( Ploneiz Breton ) is a commune in the Finistère department in 2067 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

Location

The place is located in the southwest of Brittany, near the Atlantic coast in Douarnenez. Quimper is located 8 kilometers (km) south-east, 46 km north of Brest and Paris, about 500 km to the east (in straight line ). South of the town rises the river Goyen.

Infrastructure

In Quimper are the next departures of the highway E 60 (Brest -Nantes ) and a regional train station in the predominantly parallel railway line.

The train station of Brest is the end of TGV Atlantique to Paris and the airports Aéroport de Brest Brittany, near Brest and Lorient Bretagne Sud Aéroport de Lorient at the next regional airports.
