Stone Picker ( Agonus cataphractus )

Panzer bullheads ( Agonidae ) are small bony fishes ( Osteichthyes ). They live in the coastal zones of the Arctic Sea, the North Atlantic, the North Pacific and southern South America to a depth of 1000 meters.

Features

You have a bone plates armored, elongated body and no swim bladder. The fish have at least one, but usually two short dorsal fins, the first with 2-21 hard jets, the second with 4 to 14 soft fin rays. The anal fin has 4-28 rays, the vestigial pelvic fins a hard and two soft fin rays, the caudal fin ten to twelve. Panzer bullheads have 34 to 47 vertebrae and a maximum of 30 inches long. One can prove the animals fossil since the Lower Eocene.

The tank bullheads heard as well-known and native species of stone picker ( Agonus cataphractus ) from North and Baltic Sea.
