Poblenou (Barcelona Metro)

Poblenou is the name of an underground station of the Barcelona Metro. It is located in the center of the eponymous district of Poblenou in the Sant Martí district. The station is served by the metro line 4. There is transit traffic to four bus lines to the aboveground station.

The station was taken in 1977 during the opening of the eastern extension of Line 4 in operation. This was then extended from the station Barceloneta up to Selva de Mar. Until 1982 the station was called " Pueblo Nuevo ".
