Podła Góra

Podľa Góra ( German Steinbach ) is a Polish village with 171 inhabitants. It belongs to the Gmina Skąpe in powiat Świebodziński in the Lubusz Voivodeship.

By 1945, the village belonged to the district of Steinbach Züllichau - Schwiebus in the province of Brandenburg. Today, the site is located about 50 km from the Federal Republic of Germany away.

In summer 2009, the systematic exhumation of the remains of people, including children and old people who had been buried around 1945 without clothes on the land of the village began. Notes about the problem, and in particular bullet holes in the skulls, there were already several decades. In January 2009, Jochen - Konrad Fromme demanded the Enlightenment.
