Podolí (Žďár nad Sázavou District)

Podolí ( German Podolly ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located nine kilometers south of Nove Mesto na Moravě and belongs to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou.

Geography

Podolí is located on the right side of the river Bobruvka in the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. To the east rises the Kalvárie ( Borowaberg, 593 m).

Neighboring towns are Řečice and Radešínská Svratka in the north, Lánský Dvůr and Dlouhe in the northeast, Bobrová in the east, Radešín in the south, Bohdalec the southwest, Křiby in the west and Hodíškov in the northwest.

History

Podolí was founded at the end of the 13th century and belonged to the possessions of the lords of Lomnitz on the lower town chrysanthemum. Was first mentioned in records in 1333, the village in the wake of the Erbregelung Vznata of Skuhrov. Podolí was under the Judges of Horni Bobrová. 1434 broke the inheritance of Křižanovský of Lomnitz from a dispute in which the Vladike Petřík of Zwole appropriated the village. The rightful owner of Dobeš Meziříčí led in the years 1436-1437, a litigation over a comparison to return. Few years later moved Petriks son Hynek of Zwole so that the siblings Machna and Anežka of Křižanov had the village itself, their possessions also sue. As part of the goods Křižanover John of Pernštejna got the village in 1464 as margravial Lehn. William II of Pernštejna granted to the inhabitants of Podolí on April 20, 1478 the right of the devolution, in so far remained in the possession of power. 1536 exchanged the lords of the village Pernštejna a while Saarer Abbot Ambrose against the desolate monastery village Novošice.

1667 is the first local seal and coat of arms of Podoly detectable. 1787 consisted of 23 houses and Podoly had 142 inhabitants. Gepfarrt was the place to Horni Bobrová.

After the abolition of patrimonial Podolly formed in 1850 a part of the community Horni Bobrová in the district Nove Mesto. 1864 was the municipality Podolly. During a major fire in 1867 five farms were destroyed. In 1880 were in Podolí 32 houses with 186 inhabitants. Ten years later, the population 163 people in the village. After the dissolution of Okres Nové Město na Moravě the community in 1947 associated with the Okres Zdar nad Sázavou.
