Poggio Imperiale
Poggio Imperiale is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2810 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Foggia in Apulia. The community is located about 39 kilometers north-northwest of Foggia.
History
1759 the village was founded by Placido Imperiale.

Traffic
Through the community, the Autostrada A14 leading from Bologna to southern Italy. Of this comes from the Strada Statale 693 dei Laghi di Lesina e Varano to Vico del Gargano. The station of Poggio Imperiale is located on the ferrovia Adriatica from Ancona to Lecce.
