Point of Entry (English for " border crossing " or " bullet point " ) is the seventh studio album by the British heavy metal band Judas Priest. The album was released on February 26, 1981 Columbia Records.

Formation

Point of entry was the first of three albums, which in Ibiza Sound Studios, the band recorded with Tom Allom on the Spanish island of Ibiza. In the booklet of the remastered version it says on the part of the band, the album was different than it had expected the people and, because the songs originated only an "experiment " spontaneously in Ibiza:

"Recorded on the Iceland of Ibiza with multiple distractions, glorious sunshine, and extremely low cost alcohol, this album what Regarded with mixed feelings Because it was different from what people expected. The album which nearly all Spontaneously written and Performed in Ibiza - it what an experiment in the sense did before this we had already written the Majority of the songs before going into the studio. "

Steve Huey of Allmusic wrote when the album is somehow disappointing, then would the the genre-defining predecessors. He forgave 3.5 out of 5 stars.

The album reached # 39 on the Billboard 200 in November 1989, gained gold status.
