Polish Cup

The Polish Football Cup (Polish: Puchar Polski ) is a cup competition taking place each year for Polish football teams. It is the second most important Polish football title after championship in the Ekstraklasa, the top Polish league, and is organized by the Polish Football Association PZPN. The tournament takes place after an early prelude 1925/26, since 1950/1951 regular.

Mode

Each football team that plays in the Polish league system, has the right to participate in the tournament. The teams in the lower divisions must qualify in regional qualifying rounds for participation. These teams will play along with the first and second division in the main round.

Each round is played by a single game in the knockout system, with the niederklassigere team has home advantage. The final was decided between 2000 to 2006 and 2013 by a return game.
