Politique étrangère

Politique étrangère (abbreviated PE, ISSN 0032- 342x ) is a quarterly publication for French foreign policy and international politics. Founded in 1936, it is the oldest magazine of this specialty in France.

As the journals Foreign Affairs (published on behalf of the Council on Foreign Relations ), International Affairs (published by Chatham House) and International Politics (magazine) (edited by the German Society for Foreign Policy ) will also appear " Politique étrangère " under the umbrella of a national organization for foreign policy, namely the " French Institute for International Relations " (abbreviated " IFRI ," French Institute for International relations).

Authors are renowned academics, politicians and journalists from France and other countries. Among these are found, for example, Raymond Aron, André Beaufre, Jacques Berque, Henry Kissinger, Claude Lévi- Strauss, Louis Massignon and Jean -Paul Sartre.
