Pollard script

The Pollard script is an abugida that was invented by Sam Pollard for use in the Hmong languages. It was created in 1905 and reformed until 1936.

The font is based on the Latin alphabet, but is caused entirely by its status as Abugida, in the structure differently. From other Abugidas it differs by the position of the vowel is not arbitrary - it sets the tone of the syllable.

Since version 6.1, dated January 2012, the Pollard script is as Unicode block Pollard font part of Unicode.
