Pomilio PE

The Pomilio P- types were two-seat fighter aircraft of the Italian Corpo Militare Aeronautico in the First World War.

Pomilio PC

The aircraft company of the brothers Alessandro and Ottorino Pomilio, the '' Fabbrica Aeroplani Ing O. Pomilio '' initially designed the Pomilio PC. The PC had two open cockpits, which were arranged one behind the other. The aircraft was powered by a 260 hp payable Fiat A.12 - line engine. It got 1917 as a reconnaissance plane to the front, but was under combat conditions as not sufficiently stable.

Pomilio PD

The Pomilio PD had an improved cooling system. From PC and PD total of 545 aircraft were produced, mainly of type PD.

Pomilio PE

As an upgraded version of the Pomilio PE was developed with enlarged tail fin and rudder and an uprated engine Fiat A.12.

1071 aircraft were manufactured by Pomilio in Italy and its U.S. subsidiary in Indianapolis and armed with synchronized rigidly built-in front -MG and MG - moving observer. The aircraft proved themselves due to their high speed and gradeability. About 30 Squadriglie they had in stock.
