Pomortsev (crater)

Pomortsev is an impact crater on the eastern edge of the lunar front side on the eastern edge of the Mare Spumans, southwest of the crater Dubyago. To the north is the smaller crater Stewart.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1976 after the Russian rocket pioneer Mikhail Mikhailovich Pomorzew. Before that, he was designated as P Dubyago.
