The Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro ( Portuguese: Universidade Católica do Rio Pontifical de Janeiro), in short, PUC - Rio, is a Brazilian University of pontifical right.
History
The Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro was founded on 30 October 1940.
The university is a non-profit organization privately funded Roman Catholic church; Carrier is the Archdiocese of São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro and the Society of Jesus.
