Poplin

The poplin or [ popəli ː n ( ə )] / [ pɔpli ː n] is a particularly dense fabric of cotton, wool or synthetic fiber yarns in a plain weave. The very dense set warp consists of fine yarns during the weft yarn is set loose and consists of thicker, softer twisted yarn.
