Porongos River

The Arroyo porongos is a river in south-central Uruguay.
The 67 km long river in the northeast of the department of Flores springs immediately southwest of Cerro Colorado and a few kilometers south of the city of Trinidad in the Cuchilla Grande Inferior. From there he runs predominantly from south to north, with results already in the upper reaches in spring near the Ruta 3, and finally empties into the Río Yi.
He is named for Uruguayan football club porongos.
