Potsdam Center for Policy and Management

The Potsdam Center for Policy and Management ( PCP ) is one of the Economic and Social Sciences of the University of Potsdam affiliated center that performs research and consulting projects in management science and provides national and international scientific further education. In conjunction with the chairs that are close to the PCP, various programs or courses are offered. The PCP is led by Werner Jann.

Academic Profile

The PCP operates in the political and administrative science research and teaching with a focus on the university's area " policy, administration and management ". The PCP and the center related programs and degrees within the University of Potsdam were excellent reputation in the recent study of the German Political Science Association as one of the three most important German university teaching and research institutions in the field of Public Policy and Public Administration.

  • Master of Public Management ( MPM ), with its three streams Public Policy and Administration ( PPA), Global Public Policy (GPP ) and GeoGovernance (GG). The MPM program is aimed at " high-potential ", " mid-career " staff in higher service of the public sector with a high, proven commitment in their own work area.
  • German - Russian Master of Arts Public Administration. For the study program, the Economic and Social Science Faculty of the University of Potsdam cooperates with the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Russian Peoples' Friendship University Moscow.
