Povilas ÄŒukinas

Povilas Čukinas ( born April 11, 1983 in Trakai, Lithuanian SSR, Soviet Union) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player who currently plays for the Tigers Tubingen in the National Basketball League.

His career as a professional began in his home when Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius capital club. After three vice- championships in a row (2003, 2004, 2005), he succeeded in 2006, Vilnius the championship title in the Lithuanian Basketball League ( Lietuvos Krepsinio Lyga ) to pick up, in the same year also the title of the whole Baltic Baltic Basketball League finals in 2005. 2005 also the ULEB Cup was won.

Stations abroad

In the season 2006/ 07 Čukinas played for the first time in Germany, for EnBW Ludwigsburg, in the following year for Tissettanta Cantù ( Italy Serie A). In 2008, he briefly returned to the Baltic States, where he played for two months in Latvia for the Barons LMT Riga. The 2008/09 season he set then continued at BK Budiwelnik in Kiev. 2009/10 played Cukinas again in Lithuania, in Kaunas Zalgiris; 2010/11 he was loaned to Aisčiai Kaunas. In November 2011 Čukinas returned to Germany, back to Baden- Wurttemberg, and was hired by the Tigers Tübingen. For the 2012/13 season he went back to Italy to Pallacanestro Cantu
