The train station Praha -Smíchov (Czech: Praha Železniční stanice -Smíchov ) is a long-distance and regional train station west of the Vltava River, in Prague's district of the same name. Originally it was called Praha západní nádrazí ( Prague Westbahnhof).

Location and meaning

The station is located at the rail links to Pilsen in industrially defined Smíchov. The railway line crosses just northeast of the station after a 90 ° bend of the Vltava River to reach next via the Prague railway connecting the central station.

The Smíchov station has connected to the network of Esko Prague.
