Prameny

Prameny ( German Sanger mountain ) is a municipality in the region of Karlovy Vary (Czech Republic).

History

1357 the village was first mentioned as three mountain settlements were merged and Boreš V. giant castle and Petschau took over the maintenance of a minister of the Church. 1380 was the village of their sovereign city rights. For a long time enjoyed the community with its mineral springs great popularity as a health resort. Tell village belonged from 1850 to the Judicial District Petschau and 1888 were the jurisdiction Marienbad slammed. In 1873, Sanger Bad Berg had 2,400 residents. After the Second World War and the expulsion of the predominantly German population of the town was evacuated again and created the military training area Prameny. After the dissolution of the re- occupation of the site began.

After 1989 the municipality over-indebted by the purchase of apartments from the Land Fund, carrying out several test borings and the purchase of land for the construction of wells and a health resort. The proceeds from the sale of bottled water was predictive benefits of 19 million crowns annually. As a result of protests by conservationists and a civic association the project failed and the investors withdrew, so that the community was in debt with 31 million crowns. In the elections took place in January 2009, the long-serving mayor Václav Brenner, who wanted to pass through the construction until the end, was just re-elected. The local council consisted of members in half of the listed burner constituency association Sdružení nezávislých kandidátů and the constituency association SNK Prameny bez dluhů ( Prameny without debt ). They broke up after only two months. A little later the mayor fell ill and was unable to work for half a year. The set for the December 12, 2009 election of the municipal council and the mayor could not be performed because there was not a single candidate. On December 13, a Temporary Administrator was used for Prameny. This initiated the foreclosure of municipal dwellings, the kindergarten, the former town hall and other municipal assets.
