Prati
Prati (Italian for meadows ) is the XXII. Rione (neighborhood ) in Rome. He covers the former Prati del Castello (castle meadows ) on the right bank of the Tiber north of the Castel Sant'Angelo.
History
As of 1870, the open areas were north of Castel Sant'Angelo built systematically. Thus Rome grew for the first time beyond the ancient Aurelian Walls.
The San Gioacchino ai Prati di Castello church is the Catholic Church since 1960 titular church.
