Pre-flight (printing)
A preflight (English pre- flight check) is the pressure being on the software side interpretation and examination of sentence and image data or PDFs according to predefined rules: a preliminary PDF or pre- pressure control. Standard tests for block data are: Are all image data in Access? Are required fonts enabled? Analog with PDF files: If the color spaces correctly allocated? Are fonts or lines / contours been vectorized or pixelated? Have all the required resolution image data? Are ( the right ) Special colors included in the document? Is the overfill ( trapping )?
Programs for the preflight open files
As open files documents from desktop publishing programs such as InDesign or QuarkXPress are called. Both programs have their own preflight feature: InDesign refers to them as " preflight "; In QuarkXPress, it is part of the so-called "Job Jacket" function.
