Prebberede

Prebberede is a municipality in the district of Rostock in Mecklenburg- Vorpommern ( Germany ). The community is managed by the Office Mecklenburg Switzerland, located in the office not belonging Teterow city.

Geography

The community Prebberede Mecklenburgischer between Switzerland and Recknitztal is located in a hilly area near the New Heinde 65 m above sea level. NN achieved.

History

For the first time appeared Prebberede 1228 (as Priberaze ) in a document on, until the middle of the 17th century was a stately Grange in the village. In Prebberede was built in a baroque palace buildings including stables 1772-1778 by the builder Sidon from Güstrow for Carl Friedrich Graf von Bassewitz. The castle was fitted internally in the Rococo style. The former baroque park was in 1800 transformed into a landscape park. In 1862, a neo-Gothic chapel was built, which served as the family tomb. The property remained until the expropriation in 1945 in the possession of the family of Bassewitz. Today, among other apartments are housed in the castle.

Incorporations

Belitz and are Rensow since 1 July 1950 Prebberede. The congregation formed in 1810 from three small towns New Heinde was incorporated on 13 June 2004.

  • The village church Belitz is a medieval village church in the district Belitz, which took its present neo-Gothic appearance at a major renovation from 1886 to 1888. In addition, there is a grave Put the Bassewitz family as well as a memorial to a Wehrmacht deserter, who was shot in May 1945.

Prebberede is conveniently located between the cities of Güstrow, Laage, Teterow and Gnoien. In all cities roads lead (among B 108 Teterow to Rostock ). Toward Güstrow the motorway junction Glasewitz is (A 19). From the nearby town of Laage is connected by train to Rostock and Berlin. Laage is also the location of the Rostock airport.
