Preben Kaas
Preben Kaas ( born March 30, 1930 in Aalborg, † March 27, 1981 in Copenhagen) was a Danish actor, comedian and screenwriter.
Career
Kaas took first at Nordisk Film training as a cutter. After his first film appearances in the 1940s, he was assistant director from 1955 at Nordisk Film, 1965-1967, he was head of the ABC Theatre in Copenhagen. He also became known as an actor in revues, especially as director of Cirkusrevy.
The German audience, he was known primarily for two Olsen Gang films in which he played the Dynamite Harry, Benny's eternally drunk brother and explosives experts. For The Olsen Gang in a fix he got it in 1970 the Danish Bodil Film Award as Best Male Supporting Actor; In 1973 he played the Dynamite Harry again in The Olsen gang runs amok. He was also in the movie The Olsen gang goes to Jutland from 1971 as Betterøv, the silent accomplice of the breaker Mads Madsen to see.
Preben Kaas suffered from an incurable disease and therefore in 1981 took his own life.

Overall, Preben Kaas was married four times, first with Bodil Nielsen Nymark, in second marriage with Ulla Larsen, in his third marriage with Anne Mari Lie and last with Lisbet Dahl. From his second marriage, comes the actor and conductor Jeppe Kaas and from his third marriage Nikolaj Lie Kaas, the actor.
