Predrag Mijatović

Predrag Mijatovic ( born January 19, 1969 in Titograd, SFR Yugoslavia), nicknamed " Peđa ", is a former Yugoslav and Montenegrin football player. From July 2006 to May 2009 he was sports director of Real Madrid.

His greatest achievement was winning the UEFA Champions League 1998 Real Madrid as he scored the winning goal in the final against Juventus and Real Madrid for the first Champions' Cup and Champions League titles helped for 32 years.

At club level played for FK Partizan Belgrade Mijatovic (1987-1988 and 1989-1993), FK Budućnost Titograd (1988-1989), Valencia (1993-1996), Real Madrid (1996-1999), Fiorentina (1999-2002) and Levante UD ( 2002-2003). He played from 1989 to 2003 73 internationals, only for the Yugoslav, then for the Serbian- Montenegrin national football team. During his active time Yugoslavia was excluded as a result of the fine imposed on the country UN sanctions for four years from all football competitions. After the lifting of the ban, he participated with his national team at the FIFA World Cup 1998 and Euro 2000.

Mijatovic ' nephew Đorđije Ćetković played from 2006 to 2009 in the Bundesliga and 2nd Bundesliga at Hansa Rostock and VfL Osnabrück.
