Prémio Leya

The Prémio Leya ( complete: Prémio Leya de Romance, German Leya -Roman- Price ) is a literary prize of the Portuguese -speaking world.

The price

It is awarded by the publishing group Leya since its foundation in 2008 annually for an unpublished novel. The award is endowed with 100,000 euros. It is assigned in a library in Lisbon, in the Palácio Galveias, one located at the Campo Pequeno city palace from the 17th century.

The most trusted book price of Lusophone linguistic area is the same highly doped Prémio Camões, but distinguished this from the complete works of an artist, and not just a single work. 2012 was the Portuguese author and university professor Nuno Camarneiro the Prémio Leya.

The jury
