Presidente Hayes Department

Presidente Hayes is a department in Paraguay, it is one of 17 administrative districts.

The department is named after the 19th U.S. President Rutherford B. Hayes ( president 1877-1881 ). After the Triple Alliance War Hayes arbitrated a boundary dispute with Argentina and ruled in favor of Paraguay.
