The Presidente Nicolau Lobato Airport (formerly Comoro ) is the airport of Dili, the capital of East Timor. He was named after Nicolau dos Reis Lobato, named the first Prime Minister and second President of the country, who perished in the fight against the Indonesian occupation. The airport is located in the district of Dili Comoro. Larger machines than the Boeing 737 can not fly to the airport because of its size. You need the older Baucau Airport ( IATA code: BCH) dodge in Baucau.

The Airnorth (IATA Code: TL) since January 18, 2000 flies between Darwin ( Australia) - Dili and back, now a day in two hours with an Embraer. On two days of the week the route is even served twice. Daily Merpati Nusantara Airlines fly the Boeing 737-200 with, and Sriwijaya Air from Denpasar Bali ( Indonesia) to Dili. Since 1 August 2008, Air Timor offers (formerly Austasia Airlines ) on the route from Singapore to Dili and back twice a week. For the route, an Airbus A319 Silk Air is used.

As a result of riots in East Timor in 2006 Australian troops occupied the airport. On its site was until 2009 one of the largest refugee camp in the country.

The Australian Air Force controlled as part of the INTERFET in 2000 the airport.
