Prince Adalbert of Bavaria (1828–1875)

Adalbert Wilhelm ( born August 26, 1828 in Munich, † September 21, 1875 in Nymphenburg ) was a Prince of Bavaria and Prince of Greece.

Life

Adalbert was a son of King Ludwig I of Bavaria and Princess Therese of Saxe- Hildburghausen.

He was married to Amalia of Bourbon, Infanta of Spain, daughter of Franz de Paula de Bourbon, Duke of Cádiz and his wife Carlota Luisa of Naples and Sicily, on August 25, 1856 in Madrid. The couple had five children together.

Adalbert Wilhelm died on September 21, 1875 with 47 years in Nymphenburg.
