Prince Mahidol Award

The Prince Mahidol Award ( Thai: พระราชทาน รางวัล สมเด็จ เจ้าฟ้า มหิดล, Prince Mahidol Award) is an annual award from the Thai royalty award for outstanding achievements in medicine and public health globally.

Prince Mahidol Award Foundation

King Rama IX. Bhumibol Adulyadej founded the Prince Mahidol Award Foundation on 1 January 1992 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his father, Prince Mahidol Birthday, initially under the name " Mahidol Award Foundation " since July 28, 1997 " Prince Mahidol award Foundation ". In addition to the actual award of funds also promotes the memory of Prince Mahidol, who had made one of the first members of the royal family, the public health of the country to his task.
