Prince Tomislav of Yugoslavia

Tomislav Karadjordjević ( born January 9, 1928 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, † 12 July 2000 in Oplenac, Serbia) was a prince of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes ( Kingdom of Yugoslavia in 1929 ).

He was the second son of King Alexander I and Mary of Romania. His older brother was the last King of Yugoslavia, Peter II His wife was Margaret Princess of Baden (* July 14, 1932 in Salem (Baden ); † January 15, 2013 in Farnham ( Surrey ) ), a daughter of Berthold of Baden and Princess Theodora of Greece and Denmark ( May 3, 1906 in Athens, † 16 October 1969 in Konstanz).

He was the first member of the former Yugoslav royal family, which again had a permanent residence in Serbia (1992) and he is so far the last family member who was buried in the royal grave lay in Topola.

Tomislav had four children: Nicholas ( b. 1959 ), Catherine ( b. 1959 ), George ( born 1984 ) and Michael (* 1985).
