Princess Januária of Brazil

Januaria of Brazil (also Januaria Maria Joana Carlota Leopoldina Francisca Xavier de Paula Cándida Micaela Gabriela Rafaela Gonzaga de Bragança, born March 11, 1822 in Rio de Janeiro, † March 13, 1901 in Nice ) was a princess of Brazil and Infanta of Portugal.

Life

Januaria was the daughter of the first Emperor of Brazil and later King of Portugal Peter I. / IV. and his wife Archduchess Maria Leopoldine of Austria born.

She married on 28 April 1844 in Rio de Janeiro Prince Luigi of Bourbon- Sicily, Conte di Aquila, a son of Francesco I of Bourbon, King of the Two Sicilies and Maria Isabel de Borbón, Infanta of Spain.

Princess Januaria died in 1901 with 79 years in Nice, France.
