Princess Resurrection

Princess Resurrection (Japanese怪物 王 女, Kaibutsu Ojo, dt "Monster Princess ") is a manga series of the Japanese signatory Yasunori Mitsunaga, which appeared from 2005 to 2013 in Japan. The work has been adapted into an anime and translated into several languages.

Action

The boy Hiro Hiyorimi (日 和 见 日 郎) is moved to the city to meet his sister. But there he suffers an accident in which he perishes. As he dies, he sees a young woman, dressed in Gothic Lolita style that made him finally revived. He wakes up in the morgue of the hospital and take a short time later on the woman. She fights against wolf -like creatures and referred to him as her servant, who should help her. From then on, Hiro accompanied them, Hime (姫, dt "Princess "), which fights against demons.

Publication

The manga was published from July 2005 to April 2013 in the manga magazine Shōnen Sirius (from issue 8 /2005) by the publisher Kodansha. The individual chapters were published in 20 anthologies. The ninth volume sold in Japan over 60 000 times.

An English version of the manga published by Del Ray and a French Pika Édition in. At the publishing house Egmont Manga and Anime was the series as Princess Resurrection, the subtitle of the series in Japanese, published from March 2010 to December 2013 completely in German.

Anime

Produced in 2007, the studio Madhouse and directed by Masayuki Sakoi a 25- episode anime television series to manga. The character design designed Kazuya Kuroda and artistic director was Yuka Okamoto. The series was from 13 April to September 28, 2007 broadcast ( after midnight and therefore on the previous TV day ) by Tokyo Broadcasting System in the Tokyo area. Within two weeks followed by CBC in Greater Nagoya, KBS Kyoto in Kyoto Prefecture and BS -i nationwide via satellite.

The anime was broadcast in English on The Anime Network.

On 9 December 2010 launched a new OVA by the 13th volume of the manga came with a DVD as a bonus. A second and third series was the 14th or 16th band. The latter was published on October 7, 2011. The OVA was animated by Tatsunoko Production.

The music of the series was composed by Mikiya Katakura from the band Ali Project. The leader was backed with the song Blood Queen Aki Misato from, the credits title is Hizamazuite Ashi o OName (跪い て 足 を お 嘗め) Ali Project.
